The Subjects and Predicted

Subject : Which (person, animal, place or things) is spoken about is called subject.

Examples:

  1. The ship sails in the river.

  2. Jenny is talking to Rony.

  3. The cow grazes in the field.

  4. The aeroplane files in the sky.

Here, the ship, Jenny, The cow and the aeroplane are spoken about. So there are Subjects.

Predicates: Similarly, sails in the sea, is talking to Rony, grazes in the field is said about the different Subjects. So these are predicates.

What is said about a Subject is called Predicate.
